We’ve had a great response to the Samurai Chef comic since we released it last year. After hitting our Kickstarter target to get the book printed, the amount of positive feedback has been so appreciated. It even got a 4 out of 5 star review in Neo Magazine!

A big THANK YOU to everyone that picked up a copy and played a part in bringing the first full mayamada title to life. But did you know Samurai Chef is just one of a cast of great characters?

This year we’ve been hard at work on our other characters and their stories. We’re almost ready to start sharing them with  you!

The next story is called Serious. It follows an ambitious young man called Blake, who plans to escape the poor neighbourhood of Serveton to the big city known as “The Jungle”.

In issue 1 Blake and his trusted partner Cassy, the town hustlers, are making a name for themselves. All seems rosy until Blake is forced to face a harsh reality of business in Serveton…

The comic will be out in September and we can’t wait for you to see it!
