Even during the current situation it’s so great to see that cosplayers all over the world are still being creative and crafting wonderful cosplays for everyone to see!
Creativity is super important, especially during a time where we have to make our own entertainment so we’ve got some awesome cosplayers here to share their wisdom, love and journeys of the cosplay world with you all.
We’ve got another round of our favourite cosplay from the London Comic Con, the biggest convention on the UK calendar! It’s always a treat to meet dedicated cosplayers and witness what they’ve been working on for weeks and months.
We’re setting up to do something we haven’t done in a long time…launch a Kickstarter for our next manga. Even if you’ve run a successful campaign before this can be a daunting prospect. Sending your creative ideas out to the mercy of the crowd, waiting for a collective thumbs up after 30 nerve-wracking days of promotion.
The London Comic Con is our biggest convention here in the UK and we’re excited for the opportunity to meet fans of our work and introduce new people to the mayamada universe!
Conventions are a great opportunity for any comic creator to get feedback on their comics from the people who invest in them. It gives people a chance to see those who actually make the comics that they enjoy and we’re looking forward to taking part!
This year our #BeCreative campaign continued with a really fun photoshoot with creative people from all walks of life. But it’s probably not going to surprise anyone who follows mayamada that cosplayers are one of our favourite groups to speak too!
Being able to talk to people from all walks of life on their creativity has been amazing. Having discussions with creative characters, hearing about their unique creative experiences is the reason we wanted to do this project. We’re excited about this character in particular as he’s been a big part of the #BeCreative campaign from the start.
All types of people have been getting involved in the #BeCreative campaign. The response has been great, and seeing people express their creativity in their own unique way never gets old!
We believe everyone is creative, so seeing people express what creativity means to them for our 2016 #BeCreative campaign has been amazing! We’ve been able to speak to people young and old with a diverse range of talents, each one a creative character in their own right.
