Even during the current situation it’s so great to see that cosplayers all over the world are still being creative and crafting wonderful cosplays for everyone to see!
Creativity is super important, especially during a time where we have to make our own entertainment so we’ve got some awesome cosplayers here to share their wisdom, love and journeys of the cosplay world with you all.
Making comics truly is a journey. The time it takes to read never really reflects the months and years in the making. It’s something I never fully appreciated before becoming a creator.
The point is that it is good to talk and be involved in great discussions around topics you care about. That thinking led us to start our new podcast, Story x Story. We talk a whole lot with friends and fans at conventions about manga, comics and gaming. Now it’s official with a microphone and an Anchor account.
We’re heading off to our final convention of 2019 this weekend, Thought Bubble Comic Con 2019! We’re excited to meet other comic creators and showcase our own selection of indie manga titles as well as our original clothing line. We’ve even got notebooks, prints and framed artwork so come and find our stall if you’re coming yourself this weekend!
We’re heading down to London MCM Comic Con this weekend from Friday 25th – Sunday 27th! You can catch us in both the North and South halls where we’ll be showcasing our indie manga as well as our original clothing line (including the comeback of our popular pink samurai beanies!), prints, notebooks and much more!
If you’ve ever organised events, you’ll know it can be a real rollercoaster ride…
We’re really grateful to everyone who has attended our two GamePad events so far in 2019. The year got off to a great start with our New Year gaming celebration in north London. Being an events organiser means signing up to a rollercoaster of emotions in the lead up to the big day itself, and this was no different.
It’s that time of year again for London Games Festival; 12 days of game-related events and activities for you to attend all across London celebrating the gaming world we live in today! Whether you’re a casual gaming fan, a hardcore gamer or someone completely new to the scene then there’s bound to be something happening for you. Here’s a look at some of the top events that are coming up during this massive festival:
It turns out Michael Jackson was wrong. No, not the decision to keep a chimpanzee as a pet. Or spending $20 million to live inside an amusement park…but the idea that “it doesn’t matter if you’re black or white”. When it comes to the casting of lead characters in some of the biggest films, it does. Or at least it used to.
We’ve got another round of our favourite cosplay from the London Comic Con, the biggest convention on the UK calendar! It’s always a treat to meet dedicated cosplayers and witness what they’ve been working on for weeks and months.
