Last year we launched the #BeCreative campaign with the goal of inspiring and developing creativity in young people. Things got off to a great start with the support of 24 illustrators who expressed what creativity means to them through fantastic artwork. It even got featured on London Live TV!
With the new school year on the horizon, we continuing the campaign and have a sneak peek for you…
Creativity matters a lot to us. It’s how we’ve made an entire universe of characters and stories that entertain people young and old. To us, being creative is about taking the ideas in your imagination and bringing them out into the real world to have an impact.
We believe creativity is something everyone is capable of, but not enough people are being encouraged to be creative.
Because of that, we want to do something to encourage more people to be confident with their creativity. To put their ideas out into the world and to have a positive impact on people around them. Whether it’s with anthropomorphic characters, or something a little less furry.
The next stage of the #BeCreative campaign is coming this summer. We can’t wait to introduce you to a real life cast of creative characters. From illustrators to musicians, entrepreneurs and cosplayers, each one expressing what creativity means to them.
We had a lot of fun with this shoot. It quickly turned into a fun arts and crafts session once we let our models loose on the pencils, crayons, paint and glitter!
Along with the creative message is a new t-shirt design with that creative message. You’ll be able to pre-order our “Creative Character” design on Tuesday, August 18th with orders shipping in September.
With this campaign we want to kickstart and important discussion on creativity. We also want to hear what you think about it, so stay tuned to find out how you and yours can get involved!
