We have been looking back at some video from our trip to Japan.
To this day we’ve never seen so many popcorn flavours in one place.
Our third Anime Showtime event is coming up fast and this time we’re in a brand new location!
Everything will be happening at Roxy Bar & Screen on Saturday 8th of December, one of the best screening venues in London.
This time around we’ll be watching the brand new Blu-Ray edition of classic anime, Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro.
UPDATE:  Den of Geek have a fantastic feature on the film for anyone who hasn’t seen it.
Tickets are only £5 and if you’re one of the first 30 people to arrive on the day you’ll get free popcorn too ^_^
You can check out the event page for more details and to book tickets.
The date to remember is Saturday 8th December, 2pm to 6pm. Tickets can be purchased online or you can reserve you spot now and pay on the door.
This weekend will see our second Anime Showtime event at Whirled Art Cinema where you’re invited to a free anime screening and get access to our one time pop up shop.
The date to put in your diaries is Sunday the 1st of April. We’ll be there and showing Steamboy: A steam punk anime set in 17th century Britain from Katsuhiro Ohtomo who also brought us Akira.

There are still a few tickets available (at least when this post was made), so be quick if you want to book your spot.
Here’s a run down of what we’ll be up to on the day.
We’re going to kick things off by giving everyone a chance to take part in our competition to win a special prize.
Judging from the talk on our Facebook page, mixing sweet and salted popcorn is popular. Well, we’ll have both kinds available for you guys before the film starts.
Once everyone has their popcorn we’ll kick off the main event. There’ll be a short break in between the film before we continue.
We’ll have a one time popup shop featuring all the mayamada t-shirts from the gift shop available for a discounted price. We’ll also have the Word Salad tee in white which you can’t get on the website.
We’ll be back next week to give you all the travel information so you know the best way to get to the screening.
Stay Tuned.
Last week saw the first in want will be many of our Anime Showtime events. Every so often, we’ll be showcase a cool anime film and inviting a bunch of people down to enjoy it with us.
