We’re really grateful to everyone who has attended our two GamePad events so far in 2019. The year got off to a great start with our New Year gaming celebration in north London. Being an events organiser means signing up to a rollercoaster of emotions in the lead up to the big day itself, and this was no different.
We’ve got another round of our favourite cosplay from the London Comic Con, the biggest convention on the UK calendar! It’s always a treat to meet dedicated cosplayers and witness what they’ve been working on for weeks and months.
E3 2018, the Christmas of the gaming industry, took place in Los Angeles this month and the event was once again the scene of so many video game gifts at E3 this month.
The E3 Expo is the biggest week in the gaming calendar. So this week feels like the right time for us to launch our biggest GamePad project we’ve ever taken on: a Kickstarter for social gaming.
If you’ve never heard of London Games Festival (LGF), we’ll forgive you, and consider this your club initiation. LGF is now in its 2nd year and backed by the none other than the Mayor of London. Sadiq Khan is into games? It sure looks like it!
It’s a massive festival spanning 11 days and over 40 events. That’s a lot to take in so here comes mayamada with our top 5 reasons you absolutely must attend this year:
It’s that time of the year when we look back at the highlights of the past 12 months. For us at mayamada, the GamePad Christmas event was the top of that list. Summer’s over here in Britain and we’re looking back at a really busy few months exhibiting at comic conventions across the UK and America, met some cool new people and learned a few lessons too.
The GamePad summer 2016 event took place last month in west London. We had a blast with a great group of gamer guy and girls enjoying a day of social gaming.
The end of May marks the start of a busy summer of events for mayamada. Six conventions plus the summer edition of GamePad means we’ll be keeping busy on our Summer Comic Con tour. Read more
