About the new story
The show is over and the Samurai Chef, a monkey whose identity has become inseparable from his craft, suddenly has nowhere to be.
But Mayazuki is determined to keep the show alive, and sets out to find a new format that works for their star. What follows is a series of cooking show pilots, each one revealing something new about a chef who thought he already knew everything.

Pilots is a story about identity, reinvention, and what happens when the thing you built your life around is suddenly gone. It’s funny, it’s tense, and it adds a whole new dimension to the Samurai Chef characters you already know.
And the stories aren’t the only thing that’s new. The Anniversary Edition will include bonus content, behind-the-scenes material, and extras that long-time fans of the series won’t want to miss.
