About the new story
The studio has been destroyed. The show is over. And the Samurai Chef — a man whose identity is inseparable from his craft — suddenly has nowhere to be.
Mayazuki, determined to keep the show alive, sets out to find a new format that works for their most difficult star. What follows is a series of cooking show pilots — each one a different world, each one revealing something new about a chef who thought he already knew everything.

Pilots is a story about identity, reinvention, and what happens when the thing you built your life around is suddenly gone. It’s funny, it’s tense, and it adds a whole new dimension to characters you already know.
